Sameday Health — Post-Testing Guidance
Thank you for selecting Sameday Health for your COVID-19 testing needs. You just received a nasal swab PCR test to detect the presence of the COVID-19 virus. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding your test, we highly recommend that you review your results with a healthcare provider.
Your test results will be available within 12-72 hours, depending on whether you received a Priority or Standard test.
If you do not receive your results within the expected timeframe, please send us an email at support@rumehealth.com. At this time, we cannot share test results over the phone.
To keep yourself and others safe while you're waiting on your test results, we recommend the following:
Because your test results are currently unknown, please stay home, do not travel, and avoid public places and contact with others, even if you do not have any symptoms. If you must go out in public or interact with others, make sure to wear a face covering that covers your mouth and nose and maintain 6 feet of distance — even in your home.
Wash your hands with soap and water frequently (for at least 20 seconds) and disinfect hard surfaces in your home such as counters, appliances and doorknobs.
Avoid sharing household items including dishes, drinking glasses, towels and bedding.
Seek care immediately if you are experiencing extreme symptoms such as difficulty breathing or chest pain/pressure.
Please note that a negative test result does not eliminate the requirement to quarantine if you are traveling to a state with quarantine mandates or if you have had a known exposure to COVID-19.
