Lab Tests Overview

Your lab results should be interpreted with a healthcare provider. Sameday Health offers lab review consultations for an additional fee through our Virtual Care service.

General Wellness Screening
Test | Basic

The General Wellness Screening provides overview of your health and provides early disease detection for high cholesterol, kidney disease, anemia, pre-diabetes, liver disease, and more.

Tests: CBC, CMP, Cholesterol Panel, Hemoglobin A1C

Collection method: Blood Sample

For the most accurate results, it is recommended that patients fast for at least 8 hours prior to their appointment. Water is allowed but no other food or drink.

General Wellness Screening

The General Wellness Screening Plus is our most extensive panel to help complete your annual recommended screening labs. This panel tracks key health indicators, such as cholesterol, blood sugar, metabolic health, kidney function, blood counts, and more.

Tests: CBC, CMP, Cholesterol Panel, Hemoglobin A1C, Magnesium, Thyroid (TSH, T4, T3), Vitamin D level, and urine analysis

Collection method: Blood and Urine Sample

PPD Test

The tuberculin test is a diagnostic procedure designed to identify the presence of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This testing process spans two visits, typically 2-3 days apart. The first involves a blood draw, while the second involves applying the test to the skin.

Collection method: Blood Sample and Scratch or Patch Test

Tuberculosis (TB) Test

This tuberculosis test is administered by one blood draw. It is an alternative to a tuberculin skin test and only requires one clinic visit. The test is an interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) release assay. The test works by measuring your bodies immune response to highly specific TB antigens.

Rapid Urinary Tract
Infection (UTI) Test

The UTI Test is a urine sample that checks for a bacterial infection in the urine.

Tests: Urine Analysis, Urine Culture 

Collection method: Urine Sample

Please note: If your urine returns as abnormal, we recommend you schedule a virtual care appointment with one of our medical providers who can review your results and help you with the treatment of an infection.

Chronic Fatigue Test

One of the most common health issues among adults is constant low energy and feeling tired. This blood panel tests for the most common and reversible causes of chronic fatigue.

Tests: Thyroid Hormone (TSH, T3,T4), CBC (Anemia), CMP (Electrolytes, Kidney, Liver function), Vitamin B12

Vitamin Test

The human body depends on a balanced diet to acquire vitamins, as it cannot produce them on its own. The test is used to spot deficiencies and inspect whether an individual is absorbing the full spectrum of vitamins and nutrients.

Diabetes Screening

An easy way to monitor blood sugar levels and Type 1 and 2 diabetes.

This panel screens for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. The primary markers to diagnose these conditions are elevated blood sugar levels, elevated HbA1c, and ketones in the urine.

Tests: Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and prediabetes

Collection method: Blood Sample, Urine Sample

Rapid STD Test

Walk in with questions and walk out with results in around 20 minutes.

Our Rapid STD Testing service provides quick and confidential testing for various sexually transmitted infections.

Tests: Gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV and syphilis
